Our work is rooted in the daily passion to invent, design, then see our ideas brought to fruition. This passion drives us to continuously encourage the growth of our newest employees in order to pass on to them our know-how and our values. Transmitting this knowledge is the cornerstone of the department, a department that has always been developed around human values, providing our customers with cutting-edge expertise and genuine support on their projects. As experts we have no intention to work on projects at arm’s length, but rather to support the project owners, provide advice, interact globally on the project and find innovative solutions. The MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineering department was the first department to be created at ATIXIS, and it is around this department that the company was developed.
Our MEP engineering office supports you in the design and implementation of the following works:

- Ventilation
- Heating
- Plumbing
- Smoke extraction

Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)
Our expertise today allows us to support any type of project and on any type of building (service sector, high-rise buildings, health facilities, industry, etc.) of any size. For many years, we have been supporting our customers on landmark projects. Today we are recognised as a major player in engineering in France.
Innovation is also a central feature of our department. We are constantly monitoring the regulations and the technologies in order to to offer innovative and optimised solutions to our customers. The “smart building” concept today constitutes a major aspect of our design considerations, to produce buildings fit for their time. These solutions need to be capable of improving the user experience while helping to optimise the consumption profile of buildings. Collaboration with the ATIXIS digital department makes it possible to provide tools to project owners for improving the design and operation of their buildings.
Lastly, our multi-disciplinary expertise means that our designs have a major impact on the environmental aspect of buildings. Our projects today, for the most part, involve environmentally certified buildings, or buildings that incorporate a major environmental component. All our employees are therefore trained in these areas.

One of the most important functions in the building industry is to protect people from the risks of fire and smoke. To this end, French legislation – among the world’s most stringent in this regard – enables the deployment of cutting-edge technologies aimed at protecting people.
At ATIXIS, it is the Safety Division that is responsible for the following missions:
- Owner’s representation and Project management for fire safety, smoke extraction and accessibility
- Fire safety system coordination
- Fire prevention
- Safety training consisting in training the client in the operation of their fire safety system, preparing for safety committee meetings, the role of the first-aider, and fire safety system management.
We work on projects ranging in surface area from 5000 square metres to 2 million square metres.
